Wrapping up

Thinking about this past year, there's a lot of surprises. Lots of up's and down's, but one thing stayed constant. There are a certain few people I know I can always rely on and that have been there for me no matter what. I'm eternally grateful for those people in my life.

The end of this year has brought someone back into my life that I've known and loved for many years, but he's back in a completely unexpected way. He's the same person, yet he's changed for the better. I'm still trying not to get my hopes up too high so I won't be disappointed, but at this point I'm just happy. I can't wait to see what comes next.

In the New Year I hope to find myself even more. To really be secure in who I am and who I have in my life. I want to decide what I"m going to do with my future and I'd love to knock some of those things off my 'bucket list.' I'm just hoping for myself, and for everyone I know and love, that '09 is a better, more prosperous year for us all.

God bless and best wishes for a safe & happier new year!

Lifes "To Do" List

Nothing like stealing an idea from a fellow blogger to be my first 'real' blog. Jim wrote about his bucket list and I thought it'd be a good place to start. I love the whole idea of a 'Bucket List' or a "Lifes To Do List". Everyone should have things they want to do no matter how big or small they might be. Whats the fun in life if you don't have some crazy dreams and goals?

Here's mine (subject to changes and additions)

- Visit Paris, Egypt, Australia, Ireland, Italy, China, Hawaii, Alaska, Las Vegas, Fiji, and anywhere else I can.
- Record a CD of my own music
- Put on a concert of my music (and some other fun music as well)
- Get married to the love of my life (and actually be the love of his)
- Have kid(s) with ^ person
- Swim with dolphins
- Go Sky diving
- Learn to play an instrument and play it well (piano, guitar, or violin preferably)
- Learn Italian
- See every Cirque Du Soleil show live (what can I say? I love Cirque lol)
- Be in two places at once (cliche', I know, but still)
- Change someones life
- Read more books
- Be in one real fashion/runway show
- Act in a real movie (yeah... I dream big - its my nature)
- Start and have a successful business
- Most importantly: Be happy with myself and the people in my life.

Your Turn... :)

Why Not?

So I figured it was about time I conform to society and start my own blog so, here it is. I'll try to update regularly but I'm not promising anything. Feel free to comment on whatever the hell I decide to write in here. I apologize in advance for the rambling I know I'll end up doing at some point or another. It probably makes sense in my head, even if it doesn't in yours when you read it :)
